I’m super excited to finally be able to make this post — today I’d like to share with you guys my first completely original song! I’ve never been great at coming up with original stuff from scratch, but I was playing around and somehow this came about.
It’s heavily based on Princess Yue from Avatar: The Last Airbender, but hopefully it’s a song that everyone will be able to enjoy even if they’re not a fan of the series. This is the first time I’ve tried something like this, so let me know what you think! I’m always open to feedback. :)

Have you guys seen this post by allonsy-10 floating around today? I literally could not stop cracking up at it. She’s clearly the bomb and you should go tell her how awesome she is! All the witty statements in this video are courtesy of her — I just contributed my lame face for giggles! People keep asking for another video blog so they can see my face but I have absolutely nothing to say, so I figure this should be as good a substitute as any, haha. There you go.
WHAT’S THE SITCH? …okay actually, just a disclaimer, this sounds really stupid because there was no true instrumental of this song. So I had to use my ukulele. But we can pretend it doesn’t sound really weird in acoustic form and that we’re just going for a Republic City vibe, right? In any case, you can blame/thank imperatriceete for this idea… The moment she left it in my ask I was immediately excited about it! I didn’t really change the song all that much, mostly because I’ve always loved the ring to the original lyrics and it already fit Korra pretty well! Hope you enjoy it despite the lame ukulele, haha!
